China

hina es un país muy grande can muchas diversidades en su población, sus paisajes y su economía. En China se hablan muchos idiomas, los mas usados están idiomas Chinos y en particular el Mandarino. China tiene mas de un miliar de habitantes, un sexto de la población global y esta el tercero mas grande en superficia. Algunas de sus ciudades están conocidas con las mas contaminadas de la planeta. Las provincias que mas interesan a los turistas están las ciudades de la costa como Pekín y Shanghai, el sureste o las provincias con minoridades étnicas, Mongolia Interior, Tibet y Xinjiang. La comida esta tan variada como la población, en el norte se comen muchas pastas pero en el sur el arroz esta dominante. En Guangzhou comen todo lo que vuele pero no es un avión. El monte Everest, la montaña mas alta del mundo, esta a la frontera de China con Nepal. La Gran Muralla de China se puede ver del espacio, es la construcción humana mas larga y atrae a muchos visitadores locales e extranjeros cada año. En Pekín, el anciano palacio de los emperadores se puede visitar en el medio de la ciudad prohibida. Hong Kong y Macau, dos territorios que fueron recuperado por China hace diez años, muestran una mezcla de influencias Chinas y Europeas. Estas dos ciudades se pueden visitar sin visado. El aeropuerto de Hong Kong esta lo mas moderno del mundo. En China se han preservado muchos sitios arqueológicos, aunque los sitios religiosos fueren en parte destruidos durante la revolución cultura. Los dos ríos principales, Yangtzi y el Río Amarillo son los tercero y quinto ríos mas largos del mundo y son importantes para el transporte. Muchas ciudades con millones de habitantes están cerca de esos ríos. Ambos ríos nacen en el Tibet, el Yangtzi llega al mar de China en la cercanía de Shanghai y el Amarillo en la provincia Shandong. El Yangtzi esta muy popular con los turistas por los paisajes maravillosos de su trayecto.

Gedankendoping

Just came back from a wonderful week-end in Munich. It was dedicated to a workshop organised by Eugen Simon called "Gedankendoping". An interesting theory expanding on NLP was explained, and we had many practical exercies especially on Sunday. It was also a good opportunity to expand our horizon and reconnect to our greatest vision. The seminar was near the Easter train station, in a place little affected by the main event in town which was the Oktoberfest....

EBBF Annual Conference in Nijmegen

As almost every year since 2004, I went again to the wonderful conference organised by the EBBF in Nijmegen, Netherlands. Wold class keynotes speakers were talking about the challenges ahead in the economy and the environment, and we shared new inspirations and came back refreshed with new hopes.

Amongst the main speakers were Augusto Lopez Claros former chief economist at the World Economic Forum and Arthur Dahl a famous marine biologist. In addition to the talks and great networking opportunities with small workshops and world cafe style conversations, one afternoon we could explore the nature surrounding the conference center and learn more about the environment.
